lol @ Gabrielle's story. I believed in Santa when I was little. I stopped when I woke up early one night and saw my mom wrapping presents and putting them under the tree.

I believed in santa till I was like 7/8, and remember thinking my cousin, only a few months younger, was so stupid when she still believed and I didn't lol.

I don't remember when I stopped believing, but I didn't tell my parents for years so that I could still get Santa gifts.

My parents tried to sell me and my siblings into Santa. I remember being young and not really caring about it lol. It just depends on the kid.

I think kids who believe in Santa grow out of it just fine or have a mini tantrum and forget about it. If it becomes some weird psychological scarring then that kid has bigger problems.

I was around 8 when I realized "Santa's" handwriting matched my moms on the presents under the tree, it wasn't too heartbreaking though lol I think believing in Santa is fun, just like the Easter bunny. I feel like most kids figure it out for themselves as they get older anyway so why ruin the fun early on?

my mom told me that he took on the handwriting of the last person to use the pen so that's why it looked like hers lol made sense to me
