this was my favorite episode of the season so far. So many thoughts

Roman and the electric circus book... i thought that murdoch/s rich right wingers/trumps still had to go to good schools and learn things?

its so weird how the kids are the most competent when they arent vying to be the successor. shiv was way better last season. and now kendall seems more competent.

i cant believe she gave up her job on a presidential campaign for this.

trying to please their dad rlly brings out the worst in the kids. kendall's competent now because in s1 all he was trying to do was please him, even trying to take over the company was his way of trying to impress logan and he continually lost because he was always a stammering, insecure mess in front of him. now there's a weird freedom to him basically just being under his dad's thumb now and he doesn't have to worry about all that. now the same thing is happening to shiv.

the best thing they can all do is get away from him but ofc they never will and he'll never let them.

i finally caught up with this show and genuinely baffled that game of thrones peeps got nominated over this cast, i mean i GET IT, got is popular and obvs it was the last season, but my mind cannot comprehend kit harrington getting nominated for an emmy when jeremy strong churned out the kind of performance he did in the s1 finale

it was a good episode but a critic on twitter said the dinner table scene would be as good as fleabag 2x01 so I had high expectations and it did not deliver. Hell it wasnt even great by succession standards after the boar on the floor dinner episode. people need to stop overselling shit.
