I saw Don’t Let Go yesterday. It was weird. I had no idea Alfred Molina was in it?????

I have no idea what I’m going to see this weekend w/ A List. There’s August releases I need to catch up on but like .... 47 Meters Down Uncaged? Idk.

With IT Chapter 2 looming, it might be nice to barely pay attention to something for ~90 minutes...

Did you see the first 47 Meters Down? This one is nothing like that. I paid 5 bucks to see it and even then I don't think I got my money's worth lol.

I saw Don't Let Go, for some reason, and while the cast is pretty great, it just ... did not make sense. I love time travel and there's a lot of craziness I'm willing to accept, but this one didn't work. Allegedly it was edited a lot after Sundance, which somewhat explains it. [Spoiler (click to open)]Weren't they five days apart at the start?? How did we get to two weeks?! When Jack was hit during the drive-by, did he actually die and then 'restart' or loop back around somehow...?? That's where it lost me entirely. And clearly it's not a linear structure, so why would Jack and Bobby [ha] vanish when Jack shoots Bobby in the 'past'? I have so many questions. It started out strong and then just fell apart. And was it a secret Christian movie? I know David's really religious (sigh) and that line about "I prayed to fix this" made me worry that maybe that was the whole point. idk. But it was disappointing.

Oh well. At least there's It next week. ♥

Aw, that's too bad. I LOVE time travel stuff and I love David Oyelowo, so I was excited for this one.

I watched The Rook because it was there and I was bored. I actually ended up enjoying it.

i saw ready or not after listening to a podcast reviewing it so i could be certain it wasn’t too scary for me

it reminded me of jennifer’s body SLIGHTLY in tone. i loved donny from orphan black the most.

i want to see it again because even knowing it was going to okay, i was still v scared in my seat
