I like running outside but I am not really a runner, I’m a sprinter. It takes me longer to jog a mile than to walk it. I tried spin last week and really loved it. My local studio is affordable at least but my vulva soreness took like a week to recover

That being said I am a DDD and i can’t afford more than 2 sports bras 😭

Jillian Bell is also massively underrated but she’s often given annoying parts

She was so good in Workaholics in 22 Jump Street

Spin is the best omg girl #addict

You have to go back !! Invest in one more bra - good sports stuff last forever !

This sounds like such a nice movie.

I wish I could get into running, but it hurts my legs to much. Like without fail it hurts my knees and shins, but maybe that's just something I would get used to and power through if I did it more consistently.

Have you been fitted for running shoes? Wearing the wrong style shoe could be the problem.

No, that's a good point that it might be a foot support thing.

Walking provides almost the same health benefits as running except for calorie burning.

It may be your feet/the way you run or show stability but maybe you are really prone to shin splints. My sister is like that

Ooh I've loved Jillian since Workaholics! This looks cute. It also reminds me of Run Fat Boy Run, which I also kind of identified with at the time it came out.

My current goals are to get back into pole. I took a hiatus bc of a wrist injury and an art show for over a month, and I know my strength overall is gonna be shit. Also need to get back to running again because my bf signed me up for a 5K without my consent -__-

Mine was nonexistent too, but I became so much stronger after a month or so of consistent practice. You should give it a go!

the cinematography of this makes it seem like a fake movie in a movie to me, i can't explain it

You actually aren't completely wrong. In the theatre, it felt like someone took the "friend" character from every movie made and gave them a strong story here so it kinda felt like that watching initially too. But it was really good. I would like to see it again. I cried like 3 times and I haven't cried in years. She gets a great arc and its motivational and its got a fully formed gay character with a family and kids and no disaster.

aw, well i'm glad that it impacted you in such a positive way! it certainly doesn't look like a bad movie, just very bright and i suppose surreal for these times - but i'll take that over something like 'the joker' any day of the week.

Its cheesy but it probably impacted me more than I thought because I am at that age where I am looking for change and a bit scared to make the leap so it was nice to see someone going through those fears too.
