I have been waiting for them to drop the release dates, since most everything was just "fall 2019" to this point. Wondering if Timothée will do the Q&A circuit for this one - I feel like every other Netflix movie is a higher priority, so maybe not.

Now that no one will be asking him about his Woody Allen movie, he might!

i think he's gonna have to do it for this one since he's starring in it, plus it's in theaters first. little women is more ensemble and he's part of it, but that'll be led by the actresses and greta

lol I was thinking of how this year it looks like the movies aren't delivering but then I remember that Oscar bait are released for the fall period.

I wish it was throughout the year so you can have time to let certain films settle and make a real opinion about it instead on instant gratification.

Ugh, yeah, I hate that 90% of Oscar potential films are released in the same two month span. It'd be so much nicer to have them spread out!

My husband & I were watching this video the other day (we love the Pitch Meeting videos on this channel) & the amount of debt Netflix is currently in had us shook. I hope these Oscar bait movies pay off big time for them or else...I don't even know.

given that 'the irishman' alone cost netflix like $200m... doubtful

It's why they're going on a cancellation spree.

And apparently not spending much advertising $ on what they haven't cancelled.
