For a sec I thought this was based off touring.

I'm guessing Rihanna and Katy are there because of non-music stuff.

I was gonna say touring?? Pink tours a lot. How long ago was Beyoncé's last tour.

Taylor finished a tour last year.

I feel like Rhianna should be more. Is this including Fenty?

Rihanna rounds out the top three with $62 million, the bulk of that coming from her Fenty Beauty joint venture with luxury goods giant LVMH.

maybe her clothing stuff isn't doing as well + splitting profit with LVMH

Interesting. Considering how much Fenty sells you would think it would be more.

Thanks!

in the long run, taylor swift will be one of the richest women in music history. she earns money from the publishing to all her music since she writes it and is strong in digital, physical, and streaming for both albums and singles. plus she's strong in touring and may become even more so when she becomes a legacy act. i'm surprised that she doesn't do more modeling brand endorsements like selena with coach and ariana with givenchy. like, she's beautiful and tall and brands would probably pay her in the eight figures to design/model for them but for some reason she just partners with random conglomerates like AT&T and Capital One

edit: this comment isn't some sort of praise of her collecting all this wealth, just an analysis of where it comes from. don't wanna seem like i'm praising wealth hoarding capitalism lol

I'm guessing the conglomerates offer a bigger paycheck?

That is interesting that Taylor doesn't do as much brand endorsements, wasn't the last time mostly with papa johns and coke during her RED era. Girl is business smart, she goes for things that are pretty accessible~ for fans which maybe(?) yields more income for her compared to more luxury endorsements???

2012 may have been a diff time but i imagine having your face on pizza boxes would cheapen your brand lmao. i guess she wants to remain relatable like you said which could explain why she has never leveled up and done some beautiful prada or gucci campaigns or something but i feel like coach is somewhat accessible. selena's pr leaked that coach was a $10 million dollar contract so i imagine that they would pay taylor even more. i can only imagine how much AT&T paid taylor bc she hardcore shilled for them

Yeah I thought Coach is slightly accessible though a little bit expensive. But I guess Taylor probably realizes that she doesn't need high end brands and she's never really been a fashion girl since most of her outfits seem pretty everyday-casual and relatable( I see u Tay). She does like power lol so AT&T, Capital, Amazon, and that tumblr-verizon thing are evident of that haha.
