Early Reviews for It: Chapter 2 are In - Hader is a Star

#ITChapterTwo is big and ambitious and can't *quite* handle the weight of its aspirations, but it's still a fine piece of heartfelt horror. The parts that work, work REALLY well and Bill Hader is every-bit the scene-stealing standout we all hoped he'd be.

I still want to read the book before I see it so that means I will probably miss it in theaters. I hope I could find somewhere playing it on Halloween because that suits it better than September 6th anyways

Yeah, I was surprised they release it that early, I'd have gone for an early October release maybe, but I know nothing behind all the details/aspects of when to best release a movie, so maybe there's a reason why they're doing it in September?

I think they picked September bc it’s the end of summer, and both films are set in the summer not during Halloween.

Also September is such an insanely empty month, it’s smart scheduling for WB. No Disney movies are opening in September. It: Chapter Two is going to be the biggest movie playing in theaters for an entire month. The next big release isn’t until October 4 when WB releases Joker.

I can’t wait! This also reminds me that I still need to watch season 2 of Barry

I love that Bill’s career is going so well post-SNL. He seems like such a sweet fun guy and deserves it.

Guess I'll be seeing this by myself since none of my friends will go to horror films. Oh well. I've done it before and this is one I definitely want to see in the theater.
