No wonder we’re all depressed. Like I’m trying so hard to learn to be happy but how can I be happy when people are being senselessly murdered by white supremacists practically on the daily now? Just for existing. Literally murdered because they exist, and because our president and political leaders rile up the hatred and racism and then act innocent when lives are lost. I’m tired of the terrorism.
I wish Cara and Ashley all the luck, if for no other reason than if you can find a glimmer of happiness in the garbage fire world, take it and don’t let go of it. I’m too tired and sad and done for sarcasm rn =\
The thing that makes me really mad is there's been a rise in right-wing terrorism and hate crimes since Trump has become president. He encourages it. I can barely think about it because it makes me so angry. I can't believe "moderate" Republicans still support him when they see how he behaves and the effect it's having. The blood is on their hands too. I hate people.
I was at the gym earlier and they had Fox News and CNN on side by side about El Paso and I was ready to throw something bc of Fox. I’m not the biggest CNN fan either but at least they were reporting what happened, how many died, that there was a manifesto and yes it absolutely was racism (the face I made that it was posted on 4chan...🤢) Then I looked at Fox and the word “prayers” must have been said 100 times in the 5 minutes I paid attention to them. Prayers, thoughts, oh who could have guessed this would happen, oh it’s going to take so long to figure out the motivations, here’s a church!
Republicans and even most Democrats are living in a goddamn different world, and I’m sick of it. I’m so fucking angry.
Donald Trump can literally go rot, and he can take his entire army of racist, murdering drones with him.
not that it's necessarily evidence of the contrary, but i know a few people in my country, including a close friend, who seriously have Vegas as their dream wedding destination, basically bc they love gaudy stuff like that or are fans of Elvis/the USA. my friend made it happen a few years ago and she's not divorced yet so fingers crossed lol
I think Vegas weddings get a bad rap because a lot of the venues are kitschy and it's so easy to get married there so a lot of people who aren't serious about marriage make dumb decisions, but I'm sure plenty of people who actually love each other and just want to have some have fun have their weddings there and have successful marriages
