Ooooo I read this book and found the story so sad! I had never heard about the premise so I was really surprised a movie wasn’t made about it before. I did find the book a little hard to follow at times and jumped around a lot.

While there hasn’t been a stand-alone film, the events were depicted (in a very simplified manner) in the 1959 film The FBI Story, which starred Jimmy Stewart as a fictional FBI agent who was shown as being central to every major FBI case from the late 1920s to the early 1950s.

Thanks for the tip! I wonder how they will treat the significant number of Native people that should be in the film. I don't have any faith in them to not whitewash the whole thing.

This book was 100% the best thing I read this year. But I feel like this movie will focus on the FBI shit and I don't care for that.
