According to Collider's write up on the trailer for the Cats trailer, Friday's trailer will premiere alongside a new single from Taylor Swift. Thankfully, Beyoncé is releasing a Lion King soundtrack on the same day, which is filled with original music that will likely block Swift from winning any Oscars. Cats is not being released until December 20th, 2019 and It's unclear if the song is solely from the film adaptation or if it's also on Swift's upcoming album Lover™.
If you recall, Justin Timberlake released his stupid song from Trolls in May 2015, when the movie didn't come out until November 2015! #SameEnergy
