I think I’m one or two eps behind but I’m tired of this show and the incessant slow motion, zoom in shots of Elizabeth Moss’ face, and over usage of badly remixed songs.

Constant zooming in Elizabeth's face - annoying af, but then afterwards you expect her to do something really badass move because of it, but nothing happens, they just zoom in to her face with no meaning to it.
Honestly they should've ended with second season, this one isn't going anywhere and In really bored by it and thinking about quitting this show.

Yes! And after like the 3rd zoom we get it, she’s mad. But then nothing happens. Or we get a glimmer of hope for something only for the show to steamroll us and take it back. It’s too frustrating and they’re dragging it out too slowly.

me too. i came into this post for spoilers because the set up for the two episodes ago was making me existentially nauseous so i'm at an impasse and will probably need to skip whatever the current arc is.

it's also so weird for me to be in this post because i have a hard time believing that people acknowledge that they watch this show--and i watch the show!

I'm not really liking this season as much so far, the build up is taking awhile. Also, [Link to spoiler] what mental illness does Mrs. Lawrence have? Has it ever been stated in the show?

I’m liking this season so far and Emily’s story in particular but I feel like June should’ve been dead so long ago.

Same, I feel bad for saying it, but I'm getting soooo sick of June and all the zooming in on her face my god. I wish they had just let June escape at the end of season 2 and then shifted the focus, but when she decided to stay (even when it made no sense!) I knew they were never going to let go of her as the lead

Yeah there are so many scenes this season of her walking around unsupervised and sassing commanders and I'm just ??? It really undermines the sense of urgency.

I had a hard time getting through the last one because of how slow it was moving. I also miss Nick tbh.
