Shay and Matte did not want a traditional gender reveal party. They left the gender reveal up to Shay's assistant Liz. Liz decided to have a Power Rangers themed fight to reveal the gender of the baby. The Pink Ranger and the Blue Ranger fought in the couple's backyard and the loser ended up in the pool
