Saw Late Night last Saturday and absolutely loved it. I hate that both that film and The Last Black Man in San Francisco aren't doing well at the box office, because they are easily my favorites of the year thus far.

Realized I am going to visit family right when Midsommar releases... my timing!! :/

my favorite scene in late night was when Molly was putting words into her boss's mouth to make her look good and then when she was posing for the pics and putting her head on her shoulder and stuff lmao it was so funny

That part was great.

I loved so many things about it - no real OTT "antagonist" other than people acting in their own interests, a relatable female protagonist in a male-dominated work environment, an extra-martial affair that is resolved in a realistic manner, made me laugh but also made me cry (too much, tbh!). Just a huge step up from The Mindy Project (and I liked TMP!).
