Was RDJ sober while filming Gothica?

Eta: google says gothica was released november 2003 and he says hes been sober since july 2003, so he was probably filming that right before he hit bottom im assuming. Probably wasnt the best person to be around at the time. ☹

Anyway, to sum it up at the end of the week: @JKCorden showed up to a WGA meeting to advocate for a lower pay grade for new writers. I told this story, and he responded, very upset that anyone would think that’s what his intentions were while confirming that’s exactly what he did

James, you showed up to a guild meeting, as an employer, flanked by your executive producer, to advocate for the show's interest to pay writers less. if you want to give talented young writers a shot, you can pay them the Guild minimum that was negotiated in the MBA
