"Safe Haven" brings us the return of Thrall, aka Green Jesus, as Varok Saurfang asks him to come back and lead the Horde. This comes after Sylvanas, the current warchief, went from "she's not evil she's complex" to "oh no she's just plain evil".

Omg it’s so weird to see WoW on ONTD. Even tho i’m Alliance, I’m happy Thrall is coming back.

I know it’s cool to hate BfA but for the most part I’ve liked this expansion. For most people on the forums it seems to be a bitch eating crackers no matter what Blizzard does.

I can’t wait for people who’ve been whining about how superior Vanilla is, to actually play it. I started playing at the end of BC and playing the Classic demo last fall reminded me of how grindy it was and how you would regularly die if you aggroed more than one thing.

I agree with everything in this comment. I'm still having fun. People just like to complain. Tons of them are still giving Blizz their sub money though so whatevs.

Also that Dadgar gif is my fave.

Lol I love that Dadgar gif!

Yeah some of the criticism is actually valid but people on the forums are such drama queens about it’s hard to take them seriously.

The azerite grind is annoying but that's my only complaint about this expansion. I LOVE the island expeditions.

I think because Classic WoW was my first MMORPG I get the nostalgia for it.
But I also remember constantly being bored and tired of the game.
Like there was this mentality of kind of hating the game but still sticking to it because of the amazing people and community I've gained because of it.

I think this was like an open dialogue for a lot of people for a time.
Who kind of just played it for chatting with friends LMAO

Burning Crusade was my first time playing/paying for an expansion to a game.
And I remember being so lost and confused about the concept.

Look at me now though, paying $60 for broken and unfinished games with shit tons of DLC/season passes.
LOL

If I wasn't a mythic raider I probably would have liked BFA, but it had so much grind. I got tired of having to do so many boring things to maintain my raid spot. I finally quit and now I have so much free time it's bananas.

I actually really like this expansion but I know that's a very unpopular opinion. I'm having fun with it.

I've liked it too--but this is how it goes. I remember at MoP launch everyone in my guild was complaining about how bad it was, but now those same people are in gchat and Discord talking about how awful BfA is and how great MoP was like people don't remember shit.

TBH, there's a lot of great stuff about this expansion. I hated WoD raiding (I was really fucking sick of orcs), but this felt like a breath of fresh air. G'huun was fun, Mythrax was really difficult, as were both bosses in CoS, the challenge of mechanic-heavy fights was a lot of fun. The capital cities are designed totally differently, the new races are great (imo); my only criticism is that I miss my artifact weapon, not having to wait for a raid drop was REALLY nice, it freed me up to assemble my BiS with less stress because the centerpiece of my gear set was taken out of the equation. But I have been waiting to face off against Queen Azshara since WC3 p much since I never got my Naga campaign!

I vas on a long hiatus vhen MoP came out, but it's probs somevhere around the top of expansions for me having played it years later. I'm convinced the developers vere on hard drugs vhen making it and I love it lol.

Same! I took a REALLY long break between BC and WoD (I know lol) and after playing through all the expansions for the first time in a really short period, MoP was the one I enjoyed the most. I kind of ran through everything else just to level and then moved onto the next thing, but I really took my time with all the MoP content. It was just so bizarre and so much fun.

Wrath's story I enjoyed the most just because I've always been a sucker for the Lich King story, but MoP is probably my favorite from a gameplay perspective.

BfA is not the vorst, but compared to Legion (vhich I thought vas lovely, esp vhen Suramar kicked in) it's lacking a little. Also I don't like vhere they're going vith Sylvanas - girl vas alvays evil, but there vas a method in her crazy + she seemed to care about the undead. Nov she's just crazy.

Yeah, I have zero desire to play through Vanilla again. I am only nostalgic about it because of the friends I was playing with at the time and not the actual gaming experience.
