I'm glad you made this post. When I first heard the song, I knew right away the chorus reminded me of something. I had totally forgotten about this song and it's so good! She even uses the same word (me). This isn't the first time she's done this, she stole the line "X marks the spot where we fall apart" from a Hilary Duff song and she had even praised that exact song on Twitter as being her favorite off Hilary's last album. I think she also stole from Lana Del Rey.

Edit: Just read the whole post. LOL of course she performed that song with her. She even called her one of her favorite artists. It's short, but the part she stole is so powerful that of course she would want to steal it.
