They balance action and comedic moments and emotional character beats SO WELL. They're doing a really good job of giving all the members of the ensemble their due and managed to have solid episodic stories while also keeping a serialized thread throughout.
It's such a fun show.
And yeah, Matt Bomer covering "People Like Us" was def a highlight of the last episode.
(though lol sometimes the show tries a bit too hard. Like "the street is gender queer" lmao. Ok.... or maybe a street shouldn't/wouldn't be presumed to have a gender in the first place, sentient or not...)

The best part of last week’s was the ending imo. “Aw come on I wasn’t that bad!” Hehe and also the beat down Darren Jones got.
Seriously I love this show. I signed up for DCU just to support it.
Btw Danny is a character from the comics. I mean they didn’t dream them up for the show.
Danny Street forever!

Doom Patrol imo is not only one of the best comic book shows ever made but also really good television in general, I highly recommend it :D

Voices? So that's not him under the mask usually?

He's on screen for flashback scenes (or the one like the one in the post), but when the character is in bandages, it's played by someone else.
Same goes for Brandon Fraser as Robotman.
The big names are too good to show up to set just to be covered up by costuming, I guess. lol.

Idk what bomer’s excuse is tho
Tbh those costumes are probably really uncomfortable. Hope the stand-ins are well compensated b/c they bring the characters alive
