she implies in the article that she ubers a lot.
it makes sense since she doesn't live lavishly. she pretty must spends all of her money on recording.

i'm sure she's making bank. she's had major endorsement deals (jimmy choo, calvin klein, marc jacobs) and roles in high profile productions for years.
her label would most likely cover transport to and from the studio because that's standard, same for her other work.

i just want her to be happy and all the good things for her. her new music sounds promising i can't wait. i felt really bad for her when everything happened with her ex and being pulled over. when it happened a guy my friend was seeing at the time was a music manager for a few big bands and knew them both. i remember one of the first things he said was like "she's so talented but he's weighing her down and now everyone is going to think she's doing those things too" and it's obvious that bothered her as she said as much in this piece.

same. she works so hard, is so talented, has sacrificed so much, is genuine and grounded. i want all the success for her she deserves it all.

i'm glad that bullshit with her ex isn't stopping her from pursuing her dream. she's so passionate; i can see her with a major career, still performing and releasing music on her terms in 40 years.
