In fairness, Amy stabbed Tig Notaro in the back by saying to the media "Looking masculine and being gay, the challenges of the road are 20 times harder for Tig than other female comedians." Tig's response was "I don’t know what she was talking about. It sounds like offensive nonsense to me. I find that so offensive and weird. If you knew me well, you would never say that."

OK? I’m not defending either of them as people or anything they’ve specifically done/said, I’m just saying that women are often judged solely on their looks so if they’re considered unattractive they’re considered worthless period, regardless of anything else about them

Yeah, the prettier actresses who've said trash things never get the same level of hate that Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer get. And I've noticed it, and even I've gotten pushback when I've tried to point it out.

More like [lena dunham] is a narcissist, and part of her skill is the ability to make everything about herself. The two of them "bonding" sounds like my personal hell manifested into real life.
