NEWS: Met with @Netflix about @OneDayAtATime S4

They made clear that they love the show, love how it serves underrepresented audiences, love its heart & humor, but...we need more viewers. They'll decide soon.

I wish I felt more confident

Ridiculous that they have to beg for renewal every damn season when Netflix will greenlight anything and everything as long as it stars straight white people. I mean for fuck's sake even NBC is letting shows like The Good Place stay on the air even though it has small ratings because it has AMAZING reviews.

Cancel Insatiable and give their budget to ODAAT. Hell that money could fund two more seasons of this show

Insatiable was great, how dare you. (I'm guessing you didn't actually watch it, just heard about it from the reviews? The point wasn't "skinny good fat bad," the point was "even if you're pretty that doesn't make you a good person" -on top of that, it had a ton of queer representation including an actually good fat person.)

Cancel Big Mouth & Making a Murderer instead.

NO! This is such a great show, and I love having something to watch and talk about with my friend’s daughter. It’s a really important show and has allowed us to talk about a LOT

This is my favourite feel-good show. Yeah, it’s a sitcom and thus cheesy at times but it’s genuinely really funny and its representation is so well done and important. It would be a HUGE mistake for Netflix to cancel it.
