I love the idea of a revamped dark universe, but I agree with you. They keep hiring shit writers who have no background in horror script writing. The Mummy was an action. I feel like most of these films should be scary, thrillerish, with action themes if they need them. They’re trying to hard to make them mainstream for everyone.
