I didn't listen to their previous album, how was it compared to HBHBHB?

It has a v different feel to it, and a lot of people complained that it's boring/rambling/too toned down, but it seems to have grown on many. Personally I love it, it's just a rly good album to play in one go, and the stripped-back sound of some songs makes big dramatic pieces like Grace and Big God rly soar imo. Plus "The End of Love" is one of her most powerful songs ever.

If you want to try it, I recommend also checking for the live versions. I already loved the album, but seeing her perform "June" took it from a good opener to a religious experience. "100 Years" is a bit muted on the album but a force of nature live.

HBHBHB is her best album but my god, High as Hope has some of her best songs.

Saw her live three times now and every time she fucking delivers.
