I haven't seen the original so I can't compare, but as a movie on its own, it was...not great. I really liked Mia Goth in it, and think it would've been a better movie from Sara's perspective, but there was just so much about it I did not care for. There are good bits.

Please, the original is a mess, only pretty to look at, and only good to take a random screen shot of it and use it as a nice Facebook cover, exactly the same issue Roma has

The original is cool visually and has one of the greatest OST's of all time but this one was way more interesting plot-wise and better acted (except for Chloe)

The only thing good about the original imo is the music and colors. Otherwise, I can't stand it and I've watched it three times.

I saw the new one a couple days ago and absolutely loved it!
