I always tip at least 20%, if not more. On everything. Being cheap is basically a fate worse than death, I've stopped being friends with people who refuse to tip or tip poorly. I can't be associated with that.
Absolutely. I'd never date someone who was rude to a waiter or waitress, I'd never date anyone rude to customer service people, I'd never be friends with people who were rude to them, I just can't do it. It goes against my morals as a human being and I don't find people like that enjoyable to be around. Plus it's embarrassing.
On the rare occasion I find out a friend is cheap when it comes to tipping, I usually avoid eating out with them. Or suggest an alternative. Idk that I’ve ended a friendship over it. But it is off putting having to tip more just to make up for their $1 or non-existent tip. 😬
I always try to tip between 25-30%, on the rare occasion I go out. I've been around people who tip poorly, then try to justify it saying they're broke. Bruh, you that broke, stay your ass at home. Tips have to factor into the budget when you're getting service.

My guess, one of those YouTube videos where people leave big tips behind just to film their reaction?
