On top of all that, Jay made fun of her accent and voice more than once.

And Gordon makes fun of her son's name.

What nice guys.

lmao seriously. it's a super popular name so he's being xenophobic at best acting like it's bizarre.

Funnily enough, the name 'Gordon' will have a specific meaning. Most names you come across do, but it's telling that English speakers are always 'har har how do you say that then?' like it's some nutty thing and their own name isn't random as fuck because it's so common to them. The way some people get on about the spelling of Irish names is the same. Like, it's a completely different language you stupid fuck, that's why it's pronounced like that!

I remember seeing this a couple years ago and thought about Gordon's awkwardness in interviews. How he always comes across as such a damn nerd, tripping over his words and such. But then I started thinking about it more and while this might have been him trying to awkwardly seem relate-able (maybe it was a mistake to give him the benefit of the doubt having seen his other interviews)... this was in no way appropriate and it's inexcusable.

Us women have been conditioned to make excuses for men's shitty behavior. I still catch myself giving passes at times and I hope one day that will come to a full stop. Cuz honestly, I'm tired of us women having to work extra hard to be taken seriously, to stop being treated like props/center of jokes. I'm just tired of it all.

And idk why I'm feeling the need to rant but one more thing... I absolutely hate it when the Modern Family cast poke fun at Sofia's accent. Impersonations and all. It might be light-hearted humor but it's always left a bad taste in my mouth.

She totally did.

She straight up yelled “this guy does not respect me!” In Spanish. Her body language is more than indicative of her uncomfortableness towards his presence.

Same. My best friend loves watching Kitchen Nightmares, but I can't do it because his outbursts make me feel so uncomfortable and I regularly watch stuff like Real Housewives.

I remember a story being posted here ages ago about him putting a camera in his teenage daughter's bedroom and I've hated him ever since.
