Todd McFarlane thinks critics were too old to get #Venom: “They come in, and they’re 42 years old, and they come in with their attitude and they’re going, ‘Stop it.’ What if you were 16 and you were watching this movie? You would love it.” https://t.co/cxr6A2QkaG pic.twitter.com/t75f3LWTnT

I felt too old watching Thoroughbreds this year. I thought the script and tone came off too try-hard and ~edgy, even though the cinematography and score were cool, and I like Olivia and ATJ. It was the first time I felt like I had to finally acknowledge that I'm too old for teen movies, LOL

I wanted to like Thoroughbreds so much more because I love Olivia, Anya and especially Anton (forever, angel <3), but I just couldn’t get with it

I was expecting the stepfather to be a monster with how much ATJ's character hated him, but no, he just called her out on her bullshit and thus he had to die.

Ahh yes, if only more movies were made specifically for 16-year-olds. We don't have enough of those.
