Honestly I don't think it was ok for Amy Schumer to use it or Kevin Hart, they all suck. I don't think Sarah Silverman should get a pass bc she gave some time and money to the community but she has apologized so... it is what it is. I don't know why so many people seem to be missing that the biggest problem with Kevin Hart and the only reason he isn't hosting is that he refused to do the bare minimum and even give a fake apology. Even getting to host the Oscar's wasn't worth enough for him to be willing to admit it was wrong for him to say homophobic things repeatedly.

People are glossing over this very detail and I can’t tell if they’re doing it on purpose or not. Kevin Hart didn’t get fired/lose his hosting gig because he tweeted out those things. He was let go because he didn’t apologize.

Seriously. He gave up what he deemed his “dream job” because he refused to apologize. This is why I don’t accept his PR approved apology after he stepped down. It’s clear he’s still homophobic and I’m glad his homophobia cost him a job.
