the dude won an oscar and he still has to convince ppl that he can play the lead role ugh. also i hate and don't trust pizzolatto so i'm already wary about how he's going to handle race during this season.

I read this and was like 'how do you write things as white' but that's the thing: no mention of raisins in coleslaw but no room for *anything but* white because "the best actor for the part".

It sucks that even with a Oscar under his belt, he still has to FIGHT for lead roles. (The other white winners can't relate smh)

If I was him I would be so bitter about it. But every interview I watch of him he's has such a calm and peaceful spirit. I know people criticized his last film but :/ knowing how he has to fight for lead roles I can't blame him. Hopefully it will be his 'Help' like Viola.
