Boy Erased also has an NYC Q&A on Saturday at 7:00, though idk who's going to be there (apart from me, that is!). And A Private War has one tomorrow at 9:00, but that's too late for me because I'm very old, so I'm seeing it tonight. I'm guessing no one interesting's going to be there tomorrow if the director and Rosamund are in L.A., haha.

Possum is def not for all tastes, and admittedly I'm a (THE!) Sean stan, but I found it so smart and creepily effective. It really makes you work & pay attention to understand all the symbolism rather than spelling it all out in an obvious way, which is sort of the opposite of what you usually get with a first-time writer/director. Total recommend tbh.

I was tempted by Bodied until I heard about Eminem producing (and Joseph Kahn is kinda garbage, right?). So idk about that one.

What theaters are those at? I'll add them. I usually check IFC, Cinema Village. the Angelika and Landmark in NYC, but since I don't live there I probably miss a few.

Your continued Sean stanning over the years has made me correlate seeing him with thinking of you, lol.

AMC Lincoln Square, my home away from home, lol. But apparently everyone from APW is going to be in L.A. this weekend??

ATTN LA: @armiehammer will be moderating the Saturday November 3 @aprivatewar Q&A at @LTLosAngeles' #TheLandmark featuring #RosamundPike, #JamieDornan, & @MattHeineman. Get your tickets! https://t.co/EDsCLyPMLx pic.twitter.com/9bOUE2TD3m

Ty!

I'm a little surprised that Armie Hammer is moderating one of those screenings now, guessing he must be pals with someone involved.

i watched all my Hooptober movies except for one of the bonus films. I watched 41 horror films in total. I'm annoyed @ myself because I actually could have watched everything, but it's ok.

I'm probably going to scale back on my movie watching this month.

I'm so glad I saw Suspiria this past weekend though. I went with a friend and my bf, I totally dragged my bf with us but he actually ended up really liking the movie, which surprised me. Usually he's not into horror.

Omg, that's amazing that you hit essentially all of them! That is a lot of movies for one month for sure.

Kind of surprised that I haven't seen anyone trashing on Suspiria yet, other than a few reviewers who weren't into it. I hope more ONTDers go see it this weekend!!

we were allowed to get started on September 15th iirc so I definitely had more than a month to watch everything! Lol

I'm surprised, too. My friend sent me a bad review the other day but I didn't read it yet.

Our furthest theater is actually playing mid90s.....if it wouldn't take me a five hour round trip to get there when it usually takes about thirty minutes, I'd go.

I need to catch up with new releases. I still need to see The Hate U Give and The Old Man & the Gun, but then I wanna see Suspiria, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and Beautiful Boy.

I’m finally getting to see Beautiful Boy in a couple hours and I’m so excited! I feel like I’ve been waiting a year for it to come out here, but really it’s only been a couple months, lol.

I want to see Boy Erased and Susperia, too, though the latter isn’t out here yet.
