honestly giving some of the ~lesser~ characters from the mcu movies their own limited series is a really cool idea?? like you can't DO a scarlet witch movie but sure why not give her a six-episode mini series type deal

and if it's coming straight from marvel STUDIOS and not marvel TV there's a chance it won't be an overlong ramble like the netflix shows tend to be

Yeah the article notes that these series will probably be six to eight episodes long. The most common critique of the Netflix/Marvel shows is that every season is four episodes too long

lmao even when the defenders was trimmed by like 4 episodes it was still a bloated mess

dd season 3 was the only one that didn't suffer from the bloat problem, like there was a filler episode or two but they were so well done that i didn't mind them

i feel like it's counterproductive for every major studio/media company start their own streaming service. people like netflix/hulu/prime because they aggregate the best shows and are still cheaper than cable while still being legal. people are just gonna go back to torrents and illegal streaming at this rate. doesn't disney own over 50% of hulu? if they don't want to give netflix too much leverage why don't they just invest in that instead

I'd probably watch this one (not the Loki and Scarlet Witch one), but I'm signing up for any new streaming service.
