Continuing this fun tradition, 20th Century Fox updated their For Your Consideration website for upcoming movies, and while there may be some big guns (Widows, Bohemian Rhapsody), others are... laughable (Bad Times at the El Royale). Let's break down what Fox is going to submit for the upcoming awards season.

-- Let's start with Bad Times at the El Royale just to get our laughs out first. Fox is pushing Best Picture (lmao), director, and three supporting actresses (Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Cailee Spaeny), supporting actor (Jeff Bridges, Jon Hamm, Lewis Pullman, Chris Hemsworth) and some tech/crafts awards.

-- Up next is the critically adored (and personal fave) The Hate U Give, which is being submitted for Best Picture, director, actress (Amandla Stenberg), supporting actress (Regina Hall, Issa Rae), supporting actor (Russell Hornsby, Algee Smith, Lamar Johnson, K.J. Apa lmao, Common, Anthony Mackie), screenplay, and a bunch of tech/crafts.

-- The soon-to-be-released and critically-meh all around Bohemian Rhapsody has its best shot naturally in Best Actor (Rami Malek), and is also being submitted for Best Picture, director (total bullshit), a million supporting actors (Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Allen Leech, Tom Hollander, Mike Myers), supporting actress (Lucy Boynton), screenplay and a bunch of tech/crafts categories.

-- We save the best chance for last with Steve McQueen's Widows, which will be submitted in pretty much everything, including Best Picture, director, actress (Viola Davis), supporting actress (Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo), supporting actor (Liam Neeson, Colin Farrell, Robert Duvall, Daniel Kaluuya, Lukas Haas, Brian Tyree Henry), screenplay and tech/crafts.
