-Richard Ashcroft's latest album, Natural Rebel, dropped on Friday, and the NME gave it 2 stars
-As a result, he posted a video on Instagram of himself burning a 2006 copy of NME, saying, “Enjoy your free drinks. No guestlist. Au revoir, NME.”
-NME points out they weren't the only ones to give the album 2 stars, and some media outlets actually did give it 4 stars
-Despite severing ties with the NME, Ashcroft has since deleted the post, and made a new post saying "not another word from me"

And in case you missed this post about a mystery drug-looking baggie falling out of his pants on national TV.... the plot thickens!

Richard Ashcroft says the suspicious ‘sachet’ falling out of his sock on Soccer AM is a “doctored” image https://t.co/cLi7ydytda pic.twitter.com/SGBxWidG60

-He now claims that what appeared on TV was a "doctored image"
-He can't believe national publications print internet images
-He says people will regret printing such false images
