Quite a lot of movies opening this weekend, starting off with Damien Chazelle's Neil Armstrong biopic 'First Man', which made $1.1 million, and is expecting to make around $18M-$20M

I'm really surprised First Man isn't going to do better, space is generally a pretty popular subject! I am looking forward to my screening tomorrow afternoon.

I'm debating on whether or not to see The Oath. On one hand, I like Ike Barinholtz, Tiffany Haddish can be funny, and the supporting cast is good. On the other hand... I get enough Tr*mp in my day to day. Idk.

i'm surprised it didn't do well either but it seems venom and a star is born are both still going VERY strong so that's making it tough for these newbies

I'm not surprised about First Man. I have a feeling it's not going to do as well with the general audience as it's been hyped so far. Space junkies will go see it, but I think it will taper off sooner rather than later. jmo
