her two newest songs, Two Slow Dancers and Nobody are great but some old faves of mine are First Love/Late Spring, Humpty, Abbey, and Francis Forever. but basically all her stuff is great.
Man, I lowkey kind of forgot about The Fear but I bought that album the day it came out and listened to it on repeat over and over.
Los Ageless and Teen Idle are two that I love and come up on my spotify a lot. I've never heard Not So Bad in LA but it's good so far and I like her little blue outfit in the video.
It took me a while to come around on Masseduction as an album, but I fucking love it now, and "Los Ageless" is great. Say what you want about this city, it inspires the fuck out of song-writers.
A couple of my fave (non-pop) LA songs, both of which do not speak kindly of my fair city:
"And it's a lovely summer's day I can almost see a skyline Through a thickening shroud of egos Is this the city of angels or demons? .... And I can't see why you'd want to live here Billboards reach past the tallest buildings You can't swim in a town this shallow As you will most assuredly drown tomorrow"
"O great calamity, Den of iniquity and tears How I abhor this place Its sweet and bitter taste Has left me wretched, wretching on all fours Los Angeles, I'm yours"

I need to listen to more Marina & the Diamonds and to get into St Vincent, I hear sheโs great but Iโve barely heard anything by her.
