dog days is an indie?

Defining indie is way more nebulous than you would think. I usually include all the movies that aren't being released by a major studio - Paramount, Sony, Disney, WB, 20th Century Fox, Universal, etc. I will include films being released by their smaller imprints, though, like Sony Picture Classics and Focus Features, since a lot of those are small budget films.

The dog one was released by LD Entertainment, which is legit an independent studio as far as I could tell.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was picking up from the trailer. I think I want to see it anyway because my husband skateboards and he'll appreciate that they're actually doing tricks.

My inner skater girl is dying to see this, it does look cute. I like that it's a group of girls skateboarding, that clip with the little girl who turns around to watch them skate by was lovely.

Wow, someone else who saw it! It wasn't my usual type of movie, but I loved how specific the point of view was, and it was intriguing.
