For those of you spooky lovers, you can stay at the original Lizzy Borden house, it's a bed and breakfast. I know a lot of friends who have and loved it!
This screened before The Miseducation of Cameron Post last night, and I swear all of the queer women in the room, like, audibly perked up when K-Stew appeared onscreen. what kind of pandering. (I can't wait.)
Is there any reason to believe that Mr. Borden might have been physically and sexually abusive? Because I've always heard he was a really nice guy but everyone is "really nice" post-mortem.
I feel like it's kind of weird to turn murder victims into antagonists like this if there isn't...
I grew up near Fall River and so used to hear and read about this a lot...
If I recall Mr. Borden was an unpleasant man who was incredibly cheap with money. He was not social and the family was kind of isolated as a result. Nor did they get on well as a family There is a story or bit of lore that it was very hot at the time of the murders and that the family had been eating the same pot of mutton over the course of several days...
Well. If being so cheap means you eat the SAME pot of mutton just sitting on the stove over a period of a week in a heat wave...erm..nothing good will come of it? LOL.
