Some of these would obv only be said by a certain ~type, but pretty accurate overall (tho wtf never heard gonch/gitch/whatever in my life), and honestly didn't realize Will was *that* Canadian.

Gitch/gonch/gotch is definitely popular among my parents generation. I don't really hear young people use it as much but everybody's parents called it that growing up. It's dad slang for sure imo lol.

These aren’t slang, but growing up I heard a lot of phrases that I repeat now and my coworkers are always baffled by them.

“It’ll be better before you’re married” (basically stop crying because it doesn’t matter)

So and so is “getting my goat”. (Somebody is being annoying)
