the problem with this movie was that with such a risky ~controversial~ artist the portrayal and movie are fairly bland. matt was fine with what he was given, but the director should've taken some risks rather than just showing 'oh wow naked people in photos!!!' meh

i know it's cliche but Just Kids is one of my favorite books

there was a line in there about wanting to be 'both muse and maker' and i thought that'd be a cute tattoo but i never got it
