so basically the guys are just rushing to absolve tambor and other abusive assholes, while the women are the ones going "well, no..." predictable.

and you gotta think that jessica and alia might have wanted to completely pop off at the men for their bullshit (e.g. jason's weaselly ~consider the context~) but they had to refrain bc then they'd be labeled as difficult/hysterical/etc.

Yeah, it made me sad to see the men take over. I think I would be “happier” if they stepped to the side and the let the girls talk. I’m all for people learning but it’s not the place for the men to “forgive.” If feel like Jessica is forgiving him for the sake of the show and the rest of the cast and not of her own volition.

I have to admit I didn’t read the whole article tho so maybe it gets better.
