The guy I was speaking to yesterday seemed confident but I've been so utterly disappointed by recent voting outcomes I don't want to get my hopes up.

yeah. it's easy to feel confident in dublin (even though i live near a church, so ofc everything has 'vote no' signs)....but i do know it's harder in smaller towns. i have a friend v involved in offaly for repeal. i do my part as much as possible, it's hard campaigning so much and not being able to vote bc i'm not irish. i care about it being repealed.

i have 1 super duper hardcore catholic friend. i just don't even bother.

I'm in Cork and it's fairly liberal, but the 'no' signs are overwhelming.

Although I just had someone ask my boyfriend furiously if he 'knew what was in my books' cos there's a scene that deals with an abortion and I'm like whoa, didn't see that coming ://

Nice! My sister bought the last pink repeal jumper in Cork and I want to steal it so bad!
I love all the repeal fashion going around.

Ireland has scary abortion laws. Good for these celebs to stand up, as messy as some of them are.

Isnt Tom Vaughan-Lawlor the guy who played Ebony Maw? He had the best performance
