They were amazing, but yeah then the thing happened that always does and it went to shit. I gave up mid-season 3 I think it was? Same with Grey's / HTGAWM the first two are amazing then, eh.

It was really hard to believe Rowan's racism speech would convince all those senators to let them all go except Jake.

I thought they were setting it up for Rowan to look nuts and like B613 was something he imagined. The white guilt aspect, especially with Sam Reston sitting on this hearing, didn't seem like it would make that big of an impact.

I was wary of the show during Liv's slave auction but had to quit after seeing the preview for the police brutality episode and haven't watched since. I wish the focus that season 1 had stayed and we could've had her just be a fixer and complicated without it becoming the mess it did and a general WTF over all of what I read recap wise.
