She really was. I legit produced a couple of tears at one point because of her, and was like "this is not what I signed up for!!" She's beautiful and maternal and lovely.

I loved the last shot of the movie, and I'd watch a mother-daughter centric sequel because I thought the teen actress was also great

I saw Rampage last week and I mostly liked it in all its OTT silliness, though the villains were exceptionally blah. It avoids Geostorm's mistake of being way too talky and thinking it's smarter than it is, so that was a relief. (That's not ASL for 'fucking,' though.)

I also saw Submergence because I am stupidly loyal to my faves -- it's not as abysmal as the reviews might suggest, but it's still not gr8. :\ Next weekend looks like a real wasteland, but then Infinity War and Disobedience on the 27th!! I am possibly equally excited for both!!

Watched “Take Your Pills” on Netflix and was underwhelmed. I’m supposed to see “A Quiet Place” later but this weather is making me want to stay in. I’m currently on the couch watching “New Girl” which I started from the beginning.
