It's been a bit of a gestation, but I'm firmly anti-porn and therefore anti-Pornhub. My issue is that you can never truly verify the ethics of what you are watching/seeing. The James Deen case is the perfect example of how far the mark even mainstream porn misses under the guise of legitimacy. The idea that me seeing a clip or a film has contributed to the exploitation of others, or featured rape or someone underage makes me feel like physically heaving. Not to mention how virulent the age/race fetishization, incest and rape-fantasy is.

I consider myself a feminist and pro-sex but I just can't see how any porn can be properly verified as ethically made, and doesn't always directly or indirectly contribute to the subjugation of women/minorities.
