She does look fantastic. Radio is radio, it's not the easiest place for women 35 and over to get airplay.

I think Kelly is aiming to be considered with the greats in terms of vocals like Aretha, Whitney, Mariah and that's what this album was aiming for.

Thank you OP! I'm sad she's on The Voice buy I guess she deserves more recognition. I wished she actually went to American Idol but The Voice is just sitting behind a chair all the time whereas AI travels a lot at the initial auditions + money talks.

Yeah. I think with The Voice though, she and her husband have 4 kids total and her husband is Blake's manager so it was easier them to keep the family together and not have to spend so much time apart if she went with The Voice. She said American Idol makes them travel a lot and she would have had to spend a significant amount of time away from her family and both of her kids are under 5 (she has two stepkids who are older)

kelly is SUCH a gift. meaning of life deserves to go diamond like honestuly truly and oh WOW 15 years into her career and she can BELT. mariah, whitney, celine, xtina, adele, etc etc etc CANNOT relate.
