I caught maybe 40 seconds of The View by accident today and it was Meghan McCain being annoying and wrong as usual - whining about DACA and saying "chain migration" like the racist trash that she is.

literally this myth of immigrant families staying together (how dare they), encouraging their relatives to come to the US, intruding places and jobs for white americans. this sums it up: "It demonizes the family-based immigration process while masking the real agenda: breaking up foreign-born families so as to encourage immigrants here to "self deport" and discourage new ones from coming."

oh wtf, i was assuming that it was about adults bringing kids to the US or giving birth to kids on american soil and as such they weren't "real citizens" but migrants

I'll watch this show with my mom sometimes and we take a drink of whatever we're drinking every time Meghan relates the topic back to herself, her father, her famous "friends", etc. (FYI: It's every topic!)
