i didn't watch this show, but my roommate did, and we watched the 100 eyes special together. i'm so thirsty for him

Tom Wu is great on the show as Hundred Eyes, you should consider watching the show if you like him. It has a very rough start and a white lead nobody cares about, but the rest of the characters are great.

I never finished the first season tbh. I love that it's a primarily Asian cast (with so many different Asian ethnicities too) but the show would improve if they had more Asians behind the scenes. Like you could just tell it was written by white people, idk.

You should consider finishing the season, it definitely improved as it went along, though I assume the lack of Asian writers hasn't changed much.

the cast actually has talked about how the behind the scenes staff is some of the most diverse they've ever experienced

Agreed and Khutulun is queen, but considering where the show is based, how often do you think we'll even see the Pope? So I'm less worried about his character, Marco is still the main issue, hopefully he takes a bit of a backseat and it becomes more of an ensemble at least.

I love it tbh. It's gorgeous and the cast is amazing especially Lhutulun and Byamba.

I enjoyed it a lot. Marco is beige af but the Asian characters were all awesome.
