It was announced today that GACKT will be the face of the new advertising campaign of Hokto, for their premium shimofuri hiratake.

So basically, he's advertising mushrooms.

An image from the campaign was shared today and there will be more promotional material coming later.

GAH!!! This, besides The Walking Dead, makes me want to get television again. But once Time Spiral and the Walking Dead are over, then what? Nothing else I really wanna watch XD...If only I could just get certain channels....Oh well, I'm sure I'll be able to catch it somewhere...

He seems to value good food, so it´s actually kind of surprising he hasn´t done something like this before. At least I don´t remember if he has. I wonder if those mushrooms are any good...? Then again, I don´t believe G would advertise them if they weren´t.

OK, I'm also finding this a bit funny, but it's also pretty cool. It's the first time that I can remember where he advertises food (e-ma and coffee don't count), but somehow it's very GACKT. It wouldn't be a boring, run-of-the-mill food like apples or bananas. No, it's going to be mushrooms: a high-class, connoisseur ingredient!

Well, either way, it's pretty amusing.
