Wow. Woow. Wooooow. I loved it. I have to admit to my heart jumping in my throat when it said Harry/Sam, but it really did work out. You didn't over do the Harry Potter angle, and really.. Ice Cream. Hot. Oh...my. Yjsml upi/ "_
Sometimes, I think my brain must be broken because, really. Sam/Harry. Except that canonically, Harry is actually older than Sam, and that kind of makes me giddy, and I'm rather fond of the idea. Except that their combined emo could cause the world to implode.
Oh God. That is *exactly* the missing scene I was imagining during the episode, when Chase was standing there with his arms crossed, all protective of himself and wearing his woobie!face. I'm almost glad that he was the stoic one during the episode, because the things that weren't said spoke so much more than the things that were.
Chase's faith in House, and Foreman's 'that's the problem'...oh. Oh oh oh.
This was wonderful and perfect and I could picture it clearly. Thank you for bringing the scene that should have been to life.
Aw, thank you :) I spent the two episodes waiting for *something* between them, because it does happen (like Foreman grabbing Chase's arm to get him to pay attention during the whole trial thing, and oh, I loved that) and it never did. And then Chase spent the next episode avoiding them all, and really? I'm sure it's because he was just having a quiet breakdown over how close he came to losing Eric, and then the baby dies and he's faced with mortality *right there*, and he just doesn't cope very well with that.
Ahem. I ramble. I think that's a sign I love them too much ;)
