I logged into LJ just now, and on my homepage there was a reminder that my birthday is coming up. Which, okay, thanks, but I hadn’t forgotten, you know? It’s a Waffle House day. I never, ever forget Waffle House days.

You probably figured this out already, but it's a consequence of adding yourself to your own friends list. I do it too because I like to look at my friends page and see my stuff mixed in with the rest rather than view it separately. But that's what happens when you do.
