I moved around a lot growing up. Pretty much every year, for most of my life, found me in a new apartment. Apparently the process before Ellen's surgery is a lot more complicated than I thought. First, she's decided to go to another hospital, and get new doctors. Her MRI is this coming week, after which a panel gets together (oncologists, surgeons, etc.) and they decide what's next. If it's chemo and radiation then surgery, or surgery first. I saw an article on astronomers discovering a free-floating planet without a sun. Just floating out there in space with no orbit; nothing holding it in place. I feel kind of like that. 10mg of prednisone is nothing. It's quiet. My mind is still, and sometimes I kind of miss the noise. The humor, a practiced reaction to the tumult and the constant emotional bombardment, isn't there, and I feel the lack of it. Nothing new is wrong; you could say this is all very good.
